Transit of Ukrainian goods through the Russian Federation is allowed

On June 24, 2019, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that lifted the restriction on the movement of Ukrainian goods through Russia.

The new version of the decree permits the transit of Ukrainian goods through the territory of Russia to third countries using a control system based on seals with GLONASS technology. At the same time, drivers engaged in the transit of this cargo must have accounting stamps that become invalid when removing the seals.

Decree number 290 comes into force on July 1, 2019.
